I have always had a reservation as it is very busy on the weekends. It's worth the trouble for calling ahead to eat here.

I would suggest a reservation. Although most days its a short wait on certain weekends (game day, graduation, homecoming, Valentine's) it can be impossible without one.

I usually go when I don't need a reservation. I have used reservations in the past also.

I don't think I ever had a reservation. But, I don't usually go when every one else in Ann Arbor is eating out. I would recommend it for a large party though.

On the rare occasion that you need to wait, the wait time is generally less than 20 minutes. I have only had to wait once, and that was during the Arts Festival. Try to get a seat on the roof terrace. Lovely on a warm evening. 😊

You can usually get away with not having one! Only at really busy times like Fridays and Saturdays during busy times of the year and special events in town should you need one.
