We just went out. Still lots to see. Storms predicted tomorrow may take a lot of it though
You still have some time thanks to the late summer temps we had and very little rain. But...we are due some rain on the 4th and 5th and it will take care of the rest of the leaves....
I think you should go right away and see the leaves on tree and trails. Beautiful The Path thru the river/creek bottom would be beautiful. Going across the swinging bridge should be very inspiring.

We are running late on colors this year due to a drought so the colors are just now turning really good,so no it is nit to late :)

We went around Thanksgiving last year and there were still some colors, so right now is probably okay.
