All state parks have picnic tables you just have to find them. Try Google maps. I find a lot of things that way. I actually research state parks in whatever state I'm in. Love it.

Is there a place to take dogs to get in the water? Or is that prohibited altogether?

There r signs that say no wading in the water but I didn't go over to the play area or splash park so not sure if dogs can get in water at the park
