There is a small, young black kitten that showed up at my door about a week ago. I can't keep her as my son is allergic to cats. Is there any place that takes kittens and will find a home for her??? She seems very tame and sociable.

You'll have to call and ask. You can also call a few vet offices, they will sometimes take them or let you post a flyer in the lobby. Animal Defense League is an option too
