Volunteers are always welcome and needed. As long as your son is in his early teens, there shouldn't be a problem. I live at the shelter and we greatly appreciate your willingness to help out in any capacity.
I am pretty sure you can. I eould call first cause there could be a age limit on volunteering. But im sure it would be okay to do that. God bless you and your son for a giving heart.
