So really though, why do they want someone's ss number? Do they plan on commiting some kind of misuse? Why do they have to know someone's life story just to get a box of food? Is it true that they only want money? Why does religion matter?

Background check for SSN. Life story is to see what issues you have they can helpwith that put you in your situation. Box of food should only require you to prove your income. They like the interest they get when you put your money in their bank but you get your own money back. All shelters think God is going to save us if we just believe.

I fully understand what you mean by what your saying. This is just opinion on it, im guessing they want your SSN to track you( meaning when they put it in they will know if yoy have collected food in the same month) there is a lot of fraudulent activity done daily. They might just want everyone who is definitely in need to get what they have to offer. Now about the life story part i dont care to constantly repeat why i dont have food or this and that, i believe alot of people have made it bad for the good people out here who are really in need. I just wish when you ask you would just receive, but they do say one apple can spoil the whole bunch. On the religious beliefs i font think whatever someone chooses to believe in should limit them from receiving. I believe in God but dont go to church cause there are a lot of devil's sitting in the house of the Lord. And again for anyine who reads this these are my options. But i hope that whatever your going through shall pass soon.
