I used to love this store as it’s the only one of its kind here in Roanoke at its scale But lately they just seem unorganized. I’ll come for an item multiple days throughout a week, sometimes over a week, and one section of a shelf will be completely unstocked. I got hot food the other day and some of the little plastic utensil machines weren’t working, the others were empty. These are just a few of the examples of things I’ve noticed in the past few months I’m not sure what’s happening and I understand there are delays in shipping times and some food item shortages right now, but good lord this store seems unorganized beyond those issues

Walked in 11:20am last Friday. Close enough to lunch time right? 12-15 workers doing much of nothing behind the food counters but there was NO hot food put out. Asked about if they would serve pizza today, was told would be 30 minutes to an hour. So wait, not putting out lunch until after lunch? Instead try to order a sandwich which the menu right above my head says made-to-order sandwiches. One lazy person ordered another lazy one to take my order. Took her 5 minutes literally to find a slice of bread then can't find the cheese. Told them forget it I'll go elsewhere.

I'm not sure. They may want your location so that they know what store is closest to you. That way you could possibly find the item(s) you're searching for but not be in your store.

Fresh elderberry is a controlled substance in the US. Most extracts come from Turkey. Elderberry has too many phytonutrients and antioxidants, so the big Pharma lobbied to have it classified. Blackberies are next, believe it or not. Such bulls#!t.

I don't believe there is a senior day. How ever you can sign up like Kroger & Food Lion to get points & discount.
If you sign up for their email newsletter they offer weekly meal plans - with healthy meals that are lower cost using some of their prepared foods. They also offer recipes using items they have on sale. Lately it's been some pretty tasty sounding fish recipes.

Not sure what that is..But they have a great selection of meats..And its always fresh!!!
If they don't have them maybe try one of the small ethnic food stores in town.
I was there last week and was looking for sugar free cheesecake myself and I couldn't find it
$5 sushi on Wednesdays and it's good. Freshly make every morning.
