Yup, pretty much. I rode my bike but it's fine for a skate. Side note: I found a public skate park on that same ride that I explored the riverside trail, but do not recall exactly where (not on that trail) and prob not really what you're looking for. It was free though and pretty cool since they had a freestyle rollerblade comp going on.
Start behind the art museum. Shade is better heading up river into Fairmont Park.
It's a free trail near the river that becomes a path over the water. Great for either a walk or easy skate.
