This Petco is my go-to for worms for my bearded dragon! It's the only spot I've been to that has reliably + consistently had healthy, living superworms available every time I've been there. And it's never like, "one last cup" or anything either-- there's always plenty, with various quantities, etc. Even though there are places much closer to me, the drive to this specific spot has always been worth it for the certainty of getting what I need. Sadly, I don't believe they've had the dog food I get for my two small dogs the past few times I've been there, but it's honestly a very common brand so that's not an issue as I can get that anywhere. Everything else I've ever needed for them, though-- it's always here. Greenies, training treats, leashes + harnesses (though they are admittedly a bit pricey, there's always something on sale!), flea treatments, you name it. They've never been out of stock of anything I've needed other than the food, but again, I suspect they may simply no longer carry it. The worms + reptile supplies are really what I come for. They always have worms, crickets, roaches, and other critters; they always have the floating food sticks and dried krill for aquatic turtles; and I most recently scored a ZooMed 40 gallon front-opening tank for my beardie for 50% off, which is a steal! (Full disclosure, I think the sale ended a few days ago, but still!) The staff has always been friendly and helpful. The lines go quick, even if it looks crowded at first. There's always parking. It's right off 95, so it's pretty convenient all around. Highly recommended!

The employees are very helpful and kind. The store is clean and organized. UPDATE!! 🚩🚩🚩 The grooming today left my dog an emotional mess. I've never seen her so stressed. The groomer proceeded to tell me to use the self wash next time and to give her more baths because my was dog was so difficult to get anything done. I brush my dog often and I give her 2 baths a month. I paid $120. Two weeks ago I self washed my dog without any issues. I don't understand what happened today. The last time my dog was groomed here she was fine but today was a whole different story. For the groomer to tell me that I dont give my dog enough baths is disrespectful. I'm so disappointed. I love this store but won't be using the grooming services anymore. I honestly recommend self wash it's cheaper and you don't have to deal with anyone's attitude. Also my dog is a very vocal husky and so sweet. She should have the patience to get the job done. So if the noise bothers the groomer to the extreme of not wanting the dog for a next appointment that's a big red flag. 🚩 I recomend to look elsewhere for grooming services. Other than that the store is great.

I know this is super old but its worth still mention that there is only 1 Spanish speaking person in grooming and they dont work all day every day lol. It's best to have someone "on call" to translate if you or a family member need to have a dog groomed. That way, there are no miscommunications or misunderstandings

They do not have a cat groomer, so your best bet is to Google cat grooming in your area. Some places will not do just nails on a cat (without at least a bath or shave appointment) so be sure to call whatever groomer you're interested in.
ACCT Philly is less expensive than the SPCA. Keep her inside until you spay her or you make grandpa status.

Wal-Mart is much cheaper,unless you don't mind spending a little more money.
When I worked here this location was not offering cat grooming, just cat nail trimmings. Please call ahead and make sure they will groom your cat first. Always make an appointment with grooming as well, you never know how busy they will be.

Appointments are recommended because some days the groomer is very busy and cannot take a walk in.

All grooming prices are different depending on the size, amount of fur, how difficult it will be to properly groom (like de-matting) etc. It is best to bring your dog or describe it on the phone with the groomer to get a grooming price estimate.

The animals they have are rescues, they do not actually belong to Petco. The prices vary depending on age, if the have already been spayed or neutered or other factors. Personally I have not seen a price higher than $75, but that is simply my experience.
