Masks are required, and tables barring entry to the kitchen and plexiglass barriers are in place to keep the customers and employees safe.
At Cupcake DownSouth, when the coronavirus (as it was initially named) broke, we immediately implemented extensive, additional cleaning and safety measures even before DHEC issued their guidance. Today, we follow the DHEC 45-point cleaning checklist (which we'd like to attach but don't see a way on Google) on a daily basis, which is reviewed by our managers in detail. We also screen all our employees daily with a digital thermometer, and for additional measures, we are: 100% mask compliant 100% glove compliant Have a safety screen between customers and staff Have cash-free transactions (no contact with cash currency) Anyone suspected of having had exposure to COVID is required to isolate for 14 days We will continue to follow these practices and assure 100% compliance going forward!
