I would definitely apply in person. If you show up in store, it shows management that you are serious about really wanting to work there. Honestly, if possible, I would try to either borrow a phone from someone else that you can be reached on or try to get a cheap phone. Its hard to communicate if you don't have a way to be reached. If you really want the job go in and introduce yourself to the manager, show your face it will better your chances.
