Because they don't care
Called today. Seven minutes on hold at 11:00 am. Probably busy talking amongst themselves, pushing paperwork, stocking shelves and failing at customer service. BB phone auto-answers "please enter the __ digit SKU number and we will tell you if we have it." rather than an associate, "Hello, this is ___, how may I help you? What are you looking for ___ to do? Oh, you might want to consider model ___, it has the feature you are looking for and also allows you to ___. We have 2 in stock. Will you be in today so I can set one aside?" Great! [SOLD] Instead, 7 minutes on hold, hung up, called two other retailers, both had associates on the phone in less than 2 minutes, found 2 of what I wanted and bought it somewhere else. Best Buy - my preferred vendor and 1st call - sale $100+ lost. Textbook example Sales 101 fail.
I can't imagine why they wouldn't answer. "Best Buy, this is ____, how can I help you?" .......aaaaaaannnnddd im getting yelled at.
Called twice with a total of 27 minutes on hold. Never talked to anyone. This is ridiculous.
Because caller ID maybe.?
They promptly answered my call, maybe you called when they were really busy or shorthanded. I don't know.
Not enough competition to make them try harder.
Thats obviously THEY DONT CARE because I called like all day & I also called 3x everyday 4 a week......
It would be too much work.
I have a new phone. Don't need one from best buy.
