It can get SUPER frustrating, but I finally learned that the best way to get to the right people is to call Member Services and tell them what you're trying to do. I'm sure they get tons of these calls but they can get you exactly where you need (it's their job) and sometimes they can help answer questions without you needing to be transferred. There are weird things hidden under different names/departments- for example: if you want to get to Pain Manao, it's under Behavioral Health now. Just save Member Services number and you'll get what you need a lot easier.

Interesting. While I have encountered this issue on the phone, I have always had prompt responses from my KP doctors through the messaging system on their site. I have never had to wait more than 1 business day, despite their 2-3 day comment, and I prefer not having to wait on hold until someone in a busy office has time to answer my question.
