I'm leaving this review for any others that may be looking for Dr. Godfrey. He has retired and is no longer practicing. I don't have any recommendations for anyone like him. If you were one of his patients you know exactly what I mean when I say that.

I was beyond pleased when I found Dr. Godfrey from the referral of a family (of my friends) that all have him as their PCP. My previous PCP retired, so I was desperate to find a kind, caring, capable doctor. Dr. William Godfrey fit that bill. However, I am now very curious and concerned that he had been out for some time and is NO LONGER ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS. I pray that he isn’t sick in any way. I also pray that he isn’t retiring. Whatever, the reason for your prolonged absence and decision to not accept new patients must be serious and a hard decision for you to make. Please know you are In my prayers-always. Lucrecia Young

Dr. Godfrey is incredible but his clinical staff leaves much to be desired. The clinical staff phone line is never answered, limiting communication to voicemail. I routinely wait for periods exceeding a month for voicemails regarding prescriptions (pre-approval, refills, etc.) to be returned.

As in a new patient appointment it took about 2 weeks to get that appointment.

My insurance at work is changing to Blue Cross Blue Shield this year. Does this office accept the HRA plan?

As far as I know you have to make an appointment for a new patient visit. I think it only took me a week or so to get in as a new patient but the wait was worth it because whenever I have gotten sick they have worked me in that same day.
