Jodi, ava has reached out for help, not for us to be judging. There are a million reasons why ava may not be able to take in this dog permanently. Ava, depending on the dog, they might not accept it because they don't accept all breeds. You might do better with surrendering the dog to the Humane Society, if you can get there. Best of luck
They will accept animals you have to take him there for input. Shame if you have had him for 2 weeks and he's a good dog why not give him a permanent home with you? Just wondering...
