how can I waterproof the water compartment of a garden statue that is supposed to have water recirculating through it? I can't see any cracks, but it leaks

The first thing is to locate the leak. If the basin isn't cracked, the leak is either in the tubing, pump or connectors. Drain the statue and let it and surrounding area dry. When dry, start flowing water and see if you can locate. If it is the basin, use clear silicone to seal the area. Otherwise, replace rubber gaskets at connections (if applicable) or replace tubing.
