Yes it is typical. In my case I never met with my lawyer, I had no idea what she looked like until the end when she sent me her personal business card. I kind of remember having that kind of problem in the beginning. Sometime during your case they will send you an automated review email, to tell them how your lawyer is handling your case and how you feel about the whole process. I was completely honest during mine and complained about the lack of communication specifically. The NEXT day my lawyer called me in regards of my review, and I just thought those things were trashed after they were sent. After then she always answered my calls, or returned them promptly. We were able to form a relationship and the communication became MUCH better, putting me at ease during the whole process. They are busy people with multiple clients, so it's to be understood to an extent. Try explaining displeasure with the communication and if that doesn't help you can ask for new representation
I had a pleasure experience. My attorney was all THAT. She always let me know whatever I need to know. I call and she call back with in 24hrs. I email and it was the same way . I cried and she cried, cause I was frustrated with situation going on with the job. H even found me another Dr. to go to. She call or texted me 2 to 3 times a week after my surgery. I was very up front with her about my past and present cause people be watching you. Ms Britt was awesome
