Will be dropping off kids for vocaloid concert on the 12th. Is there anywhere there or nearby that can wait for them? Husband bought tickets for them last year but now he has hurt back so I have to bring them. Scared in area.

Theres a taxi drop off area out front. No need to be scared, not a bad area

Ditto what all other guides have said. I personally went to the Anthem a few weeks ago for Jack White, and it is a very nice, clean, well organized and secure venue. About a million places you can hang out at, the Wharf is an upscale boardwalk area right on the water. Honestly, the biggest threat is probably the heat we are currently experiencing.

There are parking garages but they are very very expensive so keep that in mind when you head there

The area has completely been built up, changed, grown, and there are many nice restaurants and walkways by the water. It really is a beautiful area and safe overall from my experience. It kind of has an upscale town center feel. MilkBar is behind the theater and is awesome. You could wait there and the kids would love it. Good luck!
