I love my experiences when I have appointments
Marian Prescod
My consultant was first rate. She was patient, practical and did not dismiss my concerns or try to upsell. I've been a patient for years and they do not disappoint. A steady stream of professionals with great, consistent results.

I cannot say enough about the staff at Cultura. From the moment that I arrived until the time I left, they welcomed me and were so professional, kind, attentive, knowledgeable, and supportive. Dr. Bolden is beautiful inside and out. She was patient with me and answered all of my questions. Her assistant, Hiba, was wonderful too. She took her time explaining the entire process, provided my options, and didn’t pressure me in any way to move forward with them. Yet, that won’t be an issue because I will definitely return back to them for any procedures that I need. :-)

My consultation with Dr. Bolden was amazing. She has incredible medical knowledge and a warmth that I have never experienced before. She is honest about what’s possible and takes your objectives into account. A great experience!!!

The mole removal was great. I got my skin restored to a smooth soft look
Yes, I'm a current patient there and I have seen a difference after only a couple laser treatments. They specialize in pigmentation. The cost is not cheap but it's worth it if your skin is important to you
Keloids are usually treated by a combination of steroid injections, surgery and radiation therapy. I strongly feel the best setting for keloid removal is a hospital based dermatology department so they would have access to all 3 modalities. In this area I would recommend Howard, Georgetown, Washington Hospital or George Washington.
They do work w Children -If by children you refer as a teenager, the answer is Yes. Dr. Battle provided to my daughter -who back at time of appointment l, she was 16 years old a very comprehensive explanation as why is Important to have good face and overall hygiene habits. Dr. Battle has made sure that at CULTURA is offered the best staff & team with ethic. Though I believe they do not accept insurance. They do offer alternative methods of payment. Some sort of Credit card patient is responsible for all treatments Hppe this helps. And good luck
Glutathione IV has not been FDA approved as a treatment for skin lightening. Even though it's an antioxidant, there are concerns with systemic use and the impact it has on the kidneys and liver. There is some outstanding research being done, that we are following, but as of now we don't do IV Glutathione for the safety of our patients.
A mole is not a mole is not a mole. First the mole or moles need to be diagnosed as non-cancerous. The procedure and price is based on the type of mole. Some moles can be easily zapped by an electrical tool called a hyfercater. Some moles can be lasered and some moles can be surgical shaved. Some moles require incisional surgery. We offer a free consultation of your mole to determine the diagnosis and treatment option.
Yes we treat dark eye circles. Dark circles are caused either by reflection of the brown iron in our many small capillaries under the skin in the eye area or they can be from a true collection of pigment. An accurate diagnosis is critical to determine the best treatment. We use a computerized skin analysis device to analyze the dark circles and then based on the cause we can use products, prescriptions, lasers, fillers or surgery.
Cosmetic treatments are not covered by insurance. We don't take insurance but will assist you with any forms you might need if you are able to have the treatments covered by your company.
We see over 75 patients per day and have a very full schedule. If a consult or treatment slot is available we will gladly see a walk in. But because of busy schedule, I strongly recommend making an appointment.
Laser light needs to be absorbed by a pigmented hair to work. Without pigment - there is no light absorption and no heat generated. Lasers can not treat white hair.
Our consultations are complimentary and I recommend you schedule one so we can address your question. The price of laser hair removal ranges based on the size and location of the area that is treated.
Yes we treat milia. We have a full medical aesthetic spa that performs extractions, peels, hydra facials and microdermabrasion.
We only have our DC office. We are considering expansion and franchising so we might be coming to your area in the future.
