It is true they do not answer and the mail box is always full
They are not the only consulate with a high influx of calls and visits. But apparently they are one of those who do not know how to distribute the functions. That is why staff are hired for the call center. And do not say that there is no budget since this government spends its time making unnecessary and personal expenses. Not for nothing are we the laughing stock of South America.
As far as I know, you do not need to give up and it is useful, particularly, to visit Bolivia. You can keep your identity card in a very personal way. I suggest you visit the Consulate office in Washington, DC, in case you are interested in writing a letter of resignation that should be notarized.
What is the price for the consular suitcase and what is the date for the month of June please
Mrs. Mirna, you do not need an appointment, you can go without an appointment, they are already giving out a passport without an appointment, I went and they gave me but they give you in 2 months
If you have to call and make an appointment
Where and when can I register for elections?
Could you please know what hours they answer the phone? Thank you
Today, 5/7/22, we asked the people who work there and one said yes: PCR or nose test plus the vaccination card. And the person at the reception said that you don't need to present tests anymore. In the end we do not know, but better to go with proof in case the flies
Carlos come to the Consulate on Connecticut Ave in Washington DC When you enter right in front of you, you have the screen for the different services they offer. Click on the passport renewal option and with a little patience and courtesy on your part you can have your passport on the same day, or within 4 days at the latest. Don't expect courteous treatment. Be patient and have a good trip to Boliva
I called Bolivia consulate office in Ottawa. They told me to call washington conulate.
I advise you to berries and arm yourself with patience, they almost never answer the phone
You can only make appointments online. www.boliviawdc.org
I advise you to make your appointment online, I think they don't have WhatsApp.
Sorry to disappoint you, the same thing happened to me. I advise you to go there for any question or procedure, I did it, even so the attention is bad.
It is easier to put the address of the consulate in Google maps and there it will give you all that information
This weekend they are registering at the consulate in DC
Mum and dad have to be present with the baby
There is confusion, the power of attorney can be sent to the Chancery
The expired passport and 85 dollars and it leaves in about a week and a half... Those who work there are very efficient... the best day to go there is early Friday... that way you get parking at the door and they are metered. .. and there are not many people doing paperwork. Make sure it's not a holiday in either of the two countries... because there they respect holidays in the USA and Bolivia... that is, you don't work!!!
Valid identity card
I made one yesterday May 21,
I hope the consulate one day has better service .. with respect and we should be a better example
From my own experience, what I had to do is that someone in Bolivia asks a notary to do an instructive of power (the power itself), they send it to you by email and that document is sent to the consulate by email as well (or in a CD), you have to go in persons with CI or passport and you pay something like 85 us.
It only took a week for them to deliver the new passport, and if you left an envelope with a prepaid stamp for them to send it to you, that takes 10 days to 2 weeks as long as you have explained it to them and have left the envelope (prepaid envelope) good luck Maribel.
Dupont circle
You just have to go and get your original passports expired and pay $ 85 with a devotee faith card and credit Oh Maniorden
The Consulate was in Virginia this weekend, it is most likely that he will be back in November. I suggest you follow the Consulate on social media or visit his page.
I think you need a document renewal.
You need to have for example in an e-mai the power already drafted then once you are in the consulate, you are asked to send it to an e-mail from the consulate or something like that, and you are also asked for an ID of obviously identified that is in force + 2 witnesses who signed with identification card could also ask someone in the room
I am in the same way, they told me that a lawyer or someone from Bolivia should make an "Instruction of power" between the principal and the benediciary. Having that doc, you send it by e-mail. Even there I am.
Please, what requirements do I need to get a power of attorney?
