I was staying in Dupont circle and left after breakfast. traffic varies so drastically coming into or going out of downtown but it took me about 45 minutes. Coming back on the other hand took about an hour and 15 shortly after noon...
It was about 30 minutes for us, we were in Arlington and drove in traffic around 10 a.m.
About an hour drive. Traffic in this area is awful at best.
