I only have liability insurance. They didn't require full coverage
There is no forced full coverage here. They allow you to choose. But if you get in a wreck, you will be screwed.
It's always best to even when test driving. You can be held liable since you'd be the driver. Otherwise it is required by law to have insurance and I believe your required to have full coverage on a vehicle with a lean on it; usually by the lean holder
