Bought a 2015 Nissian Altima SL. Owned it for 3 weeks this past August then returned it after I paid for an inspection and was told at one time the vehicle had been totally submerged under water. It had a clean title but came from another state. I have pictures to back this up. The car was perfect on the inside. Had all the bells and whistles. Underneath the car everything was rusted-bolts,screws-sand coming out of the skid plate. I didn't have it inspected before buying it. Which was my mistake. But they took it back right away. I have 50 terrible pictures of the car that prove this. Wouldn't refer my worst enemy to Car Max. What is sad is that the car will be listed again and sold to another poor soul who will take a total loss on the car in about 2 yrs when it starts to have multiple issues from the rust and water damage. All I can do is post this review to warn people. I was devastated after I saw the underside of this car. But thankful I trusted my instincts and had it inspected. And they say it had a 125 point inspection. Oh did I mention that it had a recall so actually it was at the Nissian dealer that I was told after they fixed the recall that I needed back brakes. That's what alerted me to get the car checked in the first place. The back brakes were at a 3 I was told. What about the 125 point inspection CarMax????? Missed the bad brakes and all the water damage huh!!!! They make the buying experience easy for a reason. And it was easy but the quality of the car was terrible. Just look at the pictures I posted. Nice bow right......BAD CAR!! Motto of this post is if you buy a used car get it checked by a private party. Update Although it’s been a while the experience I had at Car Max still haunts me. The car was put back on the lot and although I don’t know if it was sold again it makes me sick to think that someone would buy the car and find out too late that it’s rusted out. #1 Great tip NEVER buy a car from out of state! Always buy a car that’s is only from AZ. This experience will haunt me for a long time. Not kidding!!!!!

Highly recommend CarMax! They provide exceptional customer service with great attention to details. Nothing gets missed. They are extremly attentive and they focus on customers' needs with respect. From the beginning to the end, I found the process to be streamlined and easy to follow. So far, I have purchased two vehicles with a 100% satisfaction. Going forward, I will continue to use CarMax for all my vehicle purchases.

Do NOT buy a car from this place. If nothing else, DO NOT buy the extended warranty because it covers NOTHING. They do not check the quality or safety of their vehicles before putting them on the lot. We purchased a car within the last year. The bumper FLEW OFF while we were driving on the freeway. It has been six months now and they still have not fixed it. They have given us the run around and told us we have to go through the dealership even though we purchased the extended warranty and still pay for it each month. The dealership also will not cover it and told us we have to pay for it first and then we will get reimbursed. They do not return phone calls and are incompetent. Not helpful at all.

Rocky was the best! Never had such a stress free experience buying a car. Carmax offers a great interest rate (better than my credit union). No pressure sales, and a 90 day guarantee! Thanks so much Rocky!

What Sara said. Their app is great. When we purchased our car from them it was well worth having one shipped through them. Their whole process was very fluid.
You’ll have to go online or check the lot I don’t work there. CarMax.com
You can go to their website carmax.com and they have a car view estimate. Usually they will ask you to come in anyways.
CarMax advertises they'll buy any car I'd give them a call
