Honestly, Phoenix is pretty clique-y and not easy to meet new people. With that being said, I will say that Stacy's is one of the more sociable gay hang outs in town. Good luck.
Phoenix is not as welcoming as say Key West. Staceys can be good to meet people more than happy hour. The person above is right..very cliche. Nu Towne has been the most welcoming by locals and bar straff.
I like Stacy's, younger crowd, dance floor. I think anyplace if open and friendly if you are. Other places to consider, Char's, Charles, The Rock, Club Volt, BarOne, even the Womack. Good luck honey.
I'd say it's a pretty good place to meet people on busy nights.
