I will preface this by saying that I am a die hard Trader Joe’s fan. I have been shopping at Trader Joe’s for 20 years, in various states. At my current location, Town and Country in Phoenix, I find the employees are typically fairly friendly, but not as friendly as they were at my old FLW location in North Scottsdale. Today was the worst experience I’ve had yet there. When I walked up to an open checkout line with my hand basket, I said “hi” to the girl at the register. She simply didn’t respond, and continued her conversation with the guy who would be bagging my groceries. Neither one of them even spoke to me at all, except when she gave me the total, and then said “have a nice day” when she handed me my receipt. Instead I got to hear their conversation about her concerns regarding some acquaintance of hers. Lame. Bring back the employees that actually act like there is a customer there and who ask if you’ve tried this or that item. That’s part of what makes TJ’s different than all the other stores!

Staff is always awesome, you can ask them anything. Food selection is fresh, high quality and different than typical grocery stores. Prices are better than Fry's or whole foods

Cool as ever! Always a neat experience. No other national chain store like it. TJs has such a unique variety of food items, most of which are exclusive to Trader Joe's. The prices used to be surprisingly reasonable, especially for the quality of most items, but like everywhere else, they have increased. And as with most Trader Joe's, it's a little cramped and cozy, even downright crowded at peak times, so plan accordingly. Well worth the trip tho, so try it and enjoy the unique variety!

Always an adventure to shop at TJs- their budget friendly Fearless Flyer Finds make shopping here a treasure hunt everytime. I came specifically for Cinnamon Brooms, and tho they had already run out of this shipment, they had lots of other great pumpkin and fall finds.
