So I just need some kind of help. I have an appointment coming up in a few weeks, but not very soon. I'm not going to kill myself, I just need to see a psychiatrist. Can I go here without fear of being involuntarily inpatient?

YES you can. We accept petitions and voluntary patients. Alot of times voluntary patients drive themselves here. Which is totally fine. You will see a NP(nurse practitioner)physicatrist within 24 hours. Usually way faster then that.
