Has anyone else been mistreated at RI? Did you get sick while there? Did they mock you for your issues or tell you you were worthless and beyond help?

This is the WORST PLACE POSSIBLE!! I WAS DYING AND COULD NOT WALK OR TALK OR USE ANY OF MY BODILY FUNCTIONS ON MY OWN BUT THEY WOULDNT TAKE ME. SAID I WAS HAVING A MEDICAL ISSUE THAT YHEY ARE NOT EQUIPPED TO HANDLE MEDICAL ISSUES. WHEN I ASKED THEM TO TAKE ME TO THE HOSPITAL THEY WOULDNT BECAUSE I WAS PETITIONED THERE . By the time they released me after 5 days of skyrocketing blood pressure I was taken to the hospital where I nearly died from a rare disease called Guillain-Barre (gee-YAH-buh-RAY) syndrome. I still have permanent nerve damage because the diagnosis took so long which delayed treatment. WHATEVER HAPPENS TO YOU OR YOUR LOVED ONES, DONT GO HERE. THEIR STAFF ARE DISGUSTING AND CLUELESS!

No. Why u would get sick am not sure. But they do evaluate and do a test to determine whether drugs or alcohol is the issue this is voluntary. Most out the next day or if drugs they monitor and treat with a anti until issues resolve . They offer therapy and other options as well
