As long as you are dressed decently there is no problem. Shows are always very good with people with great voices.
I went in one of my nice work polos and slacks but depending on season I'm sure shorts are ok as long as they are not cut off but i must warn you it was pretty cool in there and no holes in anything
Pretty flexible. I've seen everything from shorts and jeans to full out dress attire. Most are biz casual.

I would say formal casual or like business casual. Definitely nice outfit but not too fancy
