What's a good restaurant near the O theater for a group of perhaps 20 people?

Wherever you end up going call ahead. A "sudden" party of 20 is rarely a good experience for you or the establishment.

Anything in CityScape, including Arrogant Butcher, Squid Ink Sushi, The Strand, Blue Hound

Any restaurant in the Hyatt. The Matador for Mexican food. The Golden Eagle. For that many people you will need reservations.

Noodle bar, thai basil on Adams and Blue Hound in Palomar hotel are good call for reservations.

Really can't help you there as I'm not familiar with downtown eating establishments. The Hyatt is supposed to supposed have good food.
