There are several paid garages nearby. One pretty much across the street but only accessable for specific events. Parkingwhiz and similar websites can help if there's not a link through your event (even then maybe check the 3rd party sites for a better deal before dropping the cash through the venue).
Meter parking is a 4hr limit at 1.50 an hr and is charged from 8am to 10pm, 7 days a week. On event nights there are a few parking garages near orphume theater that will charge $10 parking. The parking lots that are open for event parking will have signs out to let you know your welcome to park there.
At night there's plenty of parking on the streets.

I was just at a sold out concert and found street parking a block away. There are meter spots all over the streets. But, yes, check Park Whiz for event parking to be sure.

Yes parking is very close to the theater. BUT it is very limited amount of parking and it is metered. So you have to pay for parking.
