We happened upon this ranch while hiking at South Mountain and the wranglers are so fun, helpful, and clearly have a passion for their job. It was my husband and I's first time riding (we're city folks from Chicago) and they made us very comfortable. The trail ride was gorgeous and the wranglers were very well versed in the area offering fun facts and history. They made sure everyone kept up and were safe. 10/10 had an amazing experience and would absolutely go again. Definitely recommend pants, a hat, and plenty of water!!

We did the evening sunset ride, stopping off at the T bone steak restaurant. It was absolutely brilliant, we really enjoyed the experience, almost surreal to be in a landscape like that. Ty and Eddie were fantastic guides and really looked after us. Definitely recommend!

We charge $ 40.00 per hour per person.
So reservations are recommended, and they do have helmets and required it for my grandson who rode his own horse.
Yep gopro'd the whole thing almost. I recommend morning or evening. Great light for the mountain scenery.
No it is walking only. Because it is a state park and there was no galloping of horses in state parks. There are severe fines involved.
Go there and speak with Dan
It doesn't look like they do lessons based on their website. You may want to call their number to double check
You can feed them carrots, they love that.
Call and you can make next day reservations.
They are posted on their website. We paid 50 dollars apiece for a one hour guided trail ride. Please note: Wranglers are all volunteers, so the only way for them to make some money is from your generous tip! (Well deserved!!!)
Loved the experience! All ladies had a wonderful time and ready to do it again. Staff were excellent and very knowledgeable about each horse and the park.
There is an equestrian center on either 7th ave or 7th street in the North Valley, I'm not sure of the name, but Google should be able to locate it using Equestrian or Riding Stable. Good luck.
How old is the child? It is $40.00 per person for ages 6 and older. Ages 2-5 has to ride with an adult and they are $20.00.
Check the website for hours. 😊
Go to their web site, they have a drop down to weight restriction, which states 300 lbs. But it also states that it is rare for them to not try to accommodate people.
In the winter months which is busy for us we would like to have them a day or two so we can get your time and day reserved for you. In the summer you can call a day in advance or even same day.
I would.they are very accommodating awesome people.
