It has been one year since my surgery. I am so glad Dr. Chow did my surgery and recovery and my range of motion is back to normal! April 14th 2021, my total left knee replacement surgery date. I had anxiety two weeks before so by the time 14th came I was a mess. But I have to say from the moment I stepped into the outpatient check-in point I was totally amazed. The week prior to my surgery I went in for pre-op and the people were pleasing they were talkative, explaining everything very well. I was done with my pre-op rather quickly to my surprise. And when the day of surgery came as I walked into outpatient area back of Abrazo Hospital on Bell Road, I was greeted with a big smile and a very friendly person. This was an amazing experience. I was blessed to have the same person help me prepare for surgery that I had the last time I was in there two years ago for a torn rotator cuff and a torn bicep! This was a huge blessing to me. She was tentative, very careful with all pre-surgery steps as prepared for surgery. The surgical team was just as amazing, they answered all my questions. I was introduced to everybody and told what they do. And when Dr. Chow came in to talk to me, I was please on how tentative he was to every single detail. And right before he left my cubicle he told me not to worry that he would take care of everything and that I was going to be okay. I ended up being admitted into the hospital after my procedure was done, I was going home without having help the first day. And I was wasn't good on the walker lol! The staff on 4th floor Orthopedics are awesome ! I can't say enough for the people who took care of me. The food was good, care was awesome and I have great respect for Dr. Chow. I also have to give a shout out to Melissa, and Olivia at Dr Chow's office and Ruby at the front desk They are great!! This amazing surgeon has helped me get my life back!! He is a blessing to me!

Dr. Chow is, no doubt, the best orthopedic surgeon for hip replacements. His technique, Super Path, will allow you to resume normal activities in 3 months and best of all, there are no restrictions such as bending over, squatting, etc. I am 75 years old and 4 months from surgery. I'm now able to hike 6 miles and ride my bicycle more than 20 miles. Dr. Chow is now a "private pay" surgeon and I would strongly advise you consider him as your doctor if you can afford it. Worth the excellent experience and outcome.

Amazing doctor. Only issue is a bit of a wait. Expected because he is so good! Although today was great. In and out.

I'm not a doctor, but I've had a damaged knee for years before having it completely replaced. To answer your question, I would say yes but it would depend on the type of injury. It's worth getting an appointment with Dr Chow's and letting him fix it right. He's as good as you will ever get.

my husband was told his surgery was going to be on the 10th was hey have nothing written in the schedule. He has stopped taking his meds 4 days ago for it and they refuse to call back has anyone else had this experience?

Patient care is our highest priority. As you are undoubtedly aware, Dr. Chow has moved his practice out of the Steward/Hedley group of practices. We fully understand that many of you had appointments and surgeries cancelled as a result of this situation, and we cannot apologize enough for the inconvenience and anxiety this has caused. Dr. Chow is contractually obligated to keep these plans confidential and can not reach out to you directly to inform you of these changes. Again, we could not be more sorry that business concerns may have disrupted your care or caused you unnecessary upset. If you'd like an additional referral within the Hedley Orthopedic Institute, we are happy to refer you to any one of their extremely capable physicians. Dr. Chow can be messaged through his website www.ChowHipAndKnee.com.
