You should call and find out.
From what I read, it says "weakness, numbness, and pain from nerve damage, usually in the hands and feet", unfortunately that's a big no. I don't know exactly what your symptoms are, but you can always try. Make sure you bring your ssc, piece of mail that matches the address and see what they say, but I wouldn't get my hopes up.
