No. Vets no longer declaw cats and many states have outlawed the procedure. Do not declaw your cat.

I don't think they do I wouldn't recommend declawing cats just have nails trimmed

It does seem like a good solution when a cat may be scratching up furniture or even people...but when a cat is declawed it is equivalent to cutting off our fingers up to the first knuckle. The claws are not just removed. Its painful and can cause long term issues. I'm not aware of any vets that declaw these days.
