OnDemand is a free feature with the rental of a digital converter box. There are many free titles available to view, but there is also content available that is billable. The TV network stations are no charge, but many of the movies available are billable at the prices listed on the Info screen. Thank you!

On demand is shows and movies no you don't have to pay for it but you do need a certain box for it
