Camping is wonderful. walking trails are nice and new showers. Very peaceful
Check with NM state parks or Game and Fishing. I doubt you'll find Trout but they had different fish there. More people were fishing at Coyote Creek State Park than Bluewater.

There are trout, but not many. There are tons of tiger muskie though. If you fish there, you should bring heavy test line and a steel leader. The trout seem to be deeper in the water than the muskies are, so if you are looking for trout, let your line sink a little more.
