Hello. Yes, we do have birds available for adoption on occasion. If you'll check our website– hsnt.org and view adoptable pets, our inventory changes daily! Our website will tell you which location the bird is at, when available.
Since their chances of receiving birds would be much lower than dogs and cats, then there would be less chance that they would have one one for someone to adopt. However, you should probably call them, because you never know.
To be honest I have never inquired or known if they had adoption for parakeets or other birds I could probably tell you they don't other than that you would have to call and check up with the local Humane Society in Fort Worth for that answer sorry for that but I don't think they do
