Honestly, I would not play the big tournaments, unless you live in Vegas and play often. The problem with the big tournaments, for instance the 10k at the Wynn resort which is weekly I believe, is that there are multiple re-buyins up to like the 8th or 9th level, and the even if you beat out 30 people, most of them come back in anyways, and the tournament which extends the time of that tournament up to 10 hrs plus. On top of that, the minimum is 200 to buy in, but I saw guys buying a thousand dollars worth of chips or so, which I didn't know you could do. Even more so, A lot of those guys at those tables are not new players, but sharks in general that play there for a living, at least what I gathered. Another thing to consider is the ante. So you have small blind, big blind, and ante. So if you're big blind, you're paying the big blind and ante, for example 400/400, 800 total. The tournament I played was on a Tuesday. I wish vegas had tournaments with no rebuys, And limited max buyin
