How long does it take to be approved for adoption?

1-2 weeks for my family.

3 to 5 days not including the days they are closed.

I sent my application almost two weeks ago -- I had to send it twice. I still have not have heard from anyone from the County, even though I have had two dogs in the past 20 years (each dog lived full 10-year lives in Prince Georges County). My question is that if I go to the shelter will I need to fill out another form - my printer is not working.
