Most of the exhibits and almost all of the many school children tours are science related. Science exhibits cover a very wide range - from mastodon skeleton to a first class planetarium. The museum also sponsors a series of science lectures each year for adults. These lectures are diverse and presented by notable experts in their respective fields. The museum used to have many history exhibits, but only a few related to Rochester remain - mostly in the top floor .
It has a lot of history mixed with educational entertainment for kids. Theres a lot of sections for kids to play and get creative. Adults can enjoy it too.
