Hi Gary, my company Long White Beard Furniture works with Live Edge Detroit, and I know they have a kiln. I believe the wood is air-dried for at least a few months and then put in the kiln to get the desired moisture content. Been working with their wood for years and no problems. I would call to get the details. They're super nice people.
