Do we have to talk to the person in charge at the front desk to check all the papers you have first before getting ticket on the booth? Last time only getting ticket and wait for your number to be called.

Thank you Michael Irwin. We went there last Saturday to get my photo id, my husband directly go to get ticket but the lady at the front stopped and rude to him and told him she needed to check the papers before anything else. At that time she was still talking to the other person. So I just want to know if we really have to stop and talk to her first before getting ticke. It has changed since the last time. Thank you for the information.

The person at the front desk is considered the Greeter and not a Penndot employee. Their purpose is to provide exceptional customer service, determine what services each customer needs done, and then direct each customer to choosing the correct ticket for the appropriate service. Questions about required paperwork, forms, and Penndot related questions (including pricing) cannot be answered by the Greeter. To receive the answers you need if they are Penndot related questions, you will need to ask the Penndot Supervisor or one of the Driver License Examiners who are stationed at counters 3 through 5. Counters 1 and 2 are not Penndot employees including the Greeter at the front desk. I hope this answers some questions.
