We had the most pleasant visit at the DMV getting the process started on our Real IDs. Josh was our agent and was wonderful

Pennsylvania is also one of a few states that require a physical exam before obtaining a permit. The physical may be performed by your doctor, a physician assistant, certified nurse practitioner or even your chiropractor."

They will scan your documents for the Real ID, but it gets mailed to you from a different location. You can’t pick up the Real ID from here.

Does anyone know how they're doing the drivers license test during COVID? I heard rumors the person giving the test wouldn't be in the car with you and it's all comes instead of actual road time. Is this true?

Yes this is true. They no longer get into the car with you. The person who brings you in for the test will stay in the car with you. No road test, just done in the parking lot

This location is always closed on Mondays, but the Harleysville Photo License Center is not. However, that location can only assist you if you already have the paper camera card with the barcode and that you do not need any changes made. PennDOT staff does not work at that location, but they do at Dublin, which is a Driver License Center.

We went there last Saturday to get my photo id, my husband directly go to get ticket but the lady at the front stopped and rude to him and told him she needed to check the papers before anything else. At that time she was still talking to the other person. So I just want to know if we really have to stop and talk to her first before getting ticke. It has changed since the last time. The PennDot side is Tuesday through Saturday 8:30am to 4:15pm and the photo side is Tuesday through Saturday as well, with the same hours, except for Thursday when they are open until 6pm. After 4:15pm on Thursdays, if you do not have a camera card, they will not be able to help you unfortunately until Penn Dot reopens at 8:30am the next morning.

Nope tags and notary services will do that my replacement on a motorcycle took 3 days and 73 dollars if the tags place is connected to penndot. Fees may differ from site to site.

Dublin does it harleysville does not just bring a check. We are closed this Saturday for Columbus day.
I recently heard that, if the car is equipped with automatic backup, that backup may be used for the driving test.
I heard this, but have not checked it out. I feel it should not be permitted. The camera is another issue and I feel it should be treated like a mirror.
