Hi Mackenzie! We love volunteers! The first thing you need to do is to come down and fill out a volunteer application. You can visit the animals too while you're here. If you will be helping in the Shelter you need to be 18 or over. We are working to get a more formalized program set up but in the meantime you could help by brushing dogs or cats making them more presentable for adoption. You could help us with some cleaning as that is what the majority of our days are spent doing. You could teach dogs to sit at the front of their kennel when someone walks through also making them more adoptable. We can always use help at the licensing and vaccination clinics too, but those are on hold until March. Join the Volunteers of SUVAS Facebook page too!
