I have problem in L4 and 5 . I have pain but not very severe and the intensity of pain increasing from last 6 years. More problem when I work. Should I go for surgery and how much it costs ?

You would want to avoid surgery. There are so many treatments out you may benefit from. The doctors are definitely willing to help treat it and may not need surgery at all. Physical therapy may be a good start then go from there.

Schedule an appt w/Dr Fabien Bitan. He's normally in Manhattan but comes in A.S.C 1x a week. He won't suggest surgery unless u really need it. He does non invasive surgeries as well. Bring any xrays scans or records with u. Good luck
