Thank you for your inquiry. We perform a comprehensive exam whenever a patient comes to us for a COVID-19 test so there is a charge associated with that as well as the test. The age of the patient does not determine testing fees. We adhere to the CARES Act that determines how we bill for your COVID-related visit depending on whether you have insurance (and whether you have a co-pay or high deductible plan) or are self-pay, and whether or not you have symptoms.
