I second Andrea's assessment. Maybe you could even take your daughter with you and she could become apprentice bicycle mechanic?
This place is awesome. I don't know if they have ever experienced your situation before, but these guys would be able to help you out. They fix, repair, clean, sell, etc. Just about anything you could need and top-notch customer service!!
