Call 225-389-4860 and ask to be connected to the energy bill assistance programs. Be advised they're strict time frame and guide lines. My recommendation is that you call first but if you have time go by just ask for the appropriate documents that you will need to bring with you to your appointment. Items like SSI cards for everyone in the house hold. ID for anyone 18 years or older. Current copy of the light bill, and water plus sewage bill. This is a process they will not pay your bill the same day. So be proactive
Go through the side door during regular hrs...which is 8 am til 5 pm daily....there is a window to your right as u enter the side door....that window is where u go....
