The Alamo should be opened it is state owned.
Was there Thursday and Today completely open, I believe its closed on Sunday's, but open the rest of the week, the Alamo is Texas state owned, so technically is not a part of the government building or federal park shut down.
You can always walk through the open parts.. the mission building will be closed on Sundays
