VA Disabled, service connected, you can receive an Access Pass free of charge and valid for lifetime. I've had mine several years and used it from Alaska to Florida, Maine to California. Only glitch is sometimes have to pay parking fee, ie Mt Rushmore

If you are permanently disabled you can get a federal park pass for a one time fee. It allows you plus 3 guest in any federally managed park free. Does not include camp grounds that charge for water, electric, etc. I got one via my v.a. disability. It works at all federal parks, including ft Pulaski.
